Notes
Variations - (Pathanthara)
3 – paluku rammani – paluka rammani. In the present context, 'paluku rammani' seems to be appropriate.
4 – inka – inta.
5 – tyAgarAja – tyAgarAjuni.
6 – hRdayAgArA – hRdayAkArA. As the meaning derived in all these books is ‘abode of heart’, ‘hRdayAgArA’ is the appropriate word.
caraNam 7 is not found in some books.

1 – candana – SrI tyAgarAja uses such words in other kRtis to mean 'wish tree' (like bhakta mandAra, bhakta pArijAta). The five celestial trees are – mandAra, pArijAtaka, santAna, kalpa vRksha, hari candana.
2 – rAya-bhAramA – this may also be interpreted as 'is any emissary needed to speak for me?'
This kRti forms part of dance-drama 'prahlAda bhakti vijayaM'. The words of the kRti are as uttered by prahlAda addressed to the Lord.
