O Lord rAma! Aren't You bargaining for Your grace with me who -
beholding (kani) Your (nI) charm (sogasunu),
is incessantly (anayamu) extolling You (ninu) fervently (pongucunu) in my heart (antarangamunanu) (literally interior) with great (ati) (pongucunantarangamunanati) love (prEmatO)?

O Lord well-praised (sannuta) by this tyAgarAja! This much (inta) being known (telisi) to Your (nI) mind (manasunaku) (manasunakinta), aren't You bargaining for Your grace with me who, at all times (E vELanu), extols Your (nI) auspicious (Subha) story or exploits (caritamunu)?

2 – daya velaku koniyADu – Literally, this means 'to demand a price'. In the books, this has been translated as 'bargain'. In either case, the statement of SrI tyAgarAja is contextual; therefore, the true purport of this statement is not very apparent.
4 – matamulalO – shaNmata – six modes of formal worship are - Saiva, vaishNava, SAkta, kaumAra, gANapatya and saura. However, in view of the words ‘vinta vinta’ meaning ‘odd’, ‘curios’ and ‘veta jendaga’ meaning ‘not coming to grief’, it is doubtful whether SrI tyAgarAja means the shaNmata, particularly because bhakti path is common to all these modes. Probably, he is referring to other methods of approach to Lord – like ‘vAma or kaula mArga’ etc consisting esoteric rituals.
