    O Lord rAma! I know not whether You (nIvu) would support (AdukonduvO) (nIvAdukonduvO) me or not (konavO); I know not the nature (eTuladO) of results (phalamu) (phalameTuladO) of my (mA) past (toli) religious vows (nOmu).

    For long (cAla), I went about (tirigedamu) (literally be engaged) assuming in my (nA) mind (manasuna) that (anucu) I have placed faith (namminAmu) (namminAmanucu) in (andu) You (nI) (nIyandu) with abundant (mIraganu) Love (prEma);
    however (kAni), O Lord rAma! I know not whether You would accept it as (anucu) true (nijamu) (nijamanucu) and support me or not; I know not the nature of results of my past religious vows.

    abbaka-uNDuTaku avaniyandu kalugu
    vEda-Agama marmamu telisi nava nIrada nibha dEha
    namminadi cAlunu-anucu (rAma)

    O Lord whose body (dEha) resembles (nibha) fresh (nava) rain-bearing cloud (nIrada)! O Lord rAma!
    I know not whether You would support me or not considering (anucu) that placing faith (namminadi) in You -
    understanding (telisi) the secrets (marmamu) of vEdas and Agamas (vEdAgama) obtained in (andu) this World (avani) (avaniyandu), is enough (cAlunu) (cAlunanucu) so that -
    problems (bAdhalu) existing (kalugu) in the Ocean (sAgaramuna) of Worldly Existence (bhava) do not touch (aNTaka uNDuTaku) me, and
    association (celimi) (literally friendship) of discrimination-less (avivEka) (bAdhalaNTakayuNDuTakavivEka) people (mAnavula) is not attained (abbaka uNDuTaku) (celimiyabbakuNDuTaku) by me;
    I know not the nature of results of my past religious vows.

    kaddu-anucu palikina peddala nammi
    muddu kAru nI rUpamunu mOdamutO dhyAnincucunE
    proddu pO-gaDinAmu kAni pUrNa SaSi vadana SrI (rAma)

    Believing (nammi) the elders (peddala) who said (palikina) that (anucu) eternal (nitya) comfort (sukhamu) is sure (kaddu) (kaddanucu) for those devotees (bhaktulaku) who remain (uNDu) unwavering (tappaganu) (tappaganuyuNDu) in their vow (paddu),
    I spent (pO-gaDinAmu) time (proddu) continually meditating (dhyAnincucunE) joyfully (mOdamutO) on Your (nI) most charming (muddu kAru) (literally charm oozing) form (rUpamunu); however (kAni),
    O Full (pUrNa) Moon (SaSi) Faced (vadana)! O Lord SrI rAma! I know not whether you would support me or not; I know not the nature of results of my past religious vows.

    nI japamE dikku kAni nIraja lOcana mAku
    vAji kari dhanamulu varamu kAdurA
    jAji suma dharaNa 6bhUjA manOhara SrI tyAga-
    rAja nuta bahu ravi tEja mA tappulu-encaka (rAma)

    O Lotus (nIraja) Eyed (lOcana)! Chanting Your (nI) names (japamE) is the only (kAni) refuge (dikku) for me (mAku); possessions - horse (vAji), elephant (kari) and wealth etc. (dhanamulu) - are not (kAdurA) the demands (varamu) (literally choice);
    O Lord adorned (dharaNa) with jasmine (jAji) flowers (suma) who has captivated the mind (manO-hara) of sItA – born of Earth (bhUjA)! O Lord praised (nuta) by this tyAgarAja! O Radiant One (tEja) like innumerable (bahu) Suns (ravi)!
    O Lord SrI rAma! I know not whether, without taking note of (encaka) my (mA) faults (tappulu) (tappulencaka), You would support me or not; I know not the nature of results of my past religious vows.
