O Lord with auspicious (Subha) limbs (anga) (SubhAnga)! O Bee (bhRnga) that hovers over the lotus (abja) of the heart (hRt) (hRd-abja) of sages (muni)!
O Lord rAma! Am I not believer in You? O Lord who brings delight to all the worlds!

Why (Ela) this delay (jAgu) (jAgEla) in coming (rAnu) certainly (vAlAyamugAnu), O Lord of virtues (suguNa)?
O Lord who delights (Ananda kara) the heart (hRdaya) (hRdayAnanda) of the king (nRpAla) SrI daSaratha! O Lord who is enamoured (lOla) by lakshmI (SrI)! Now onwards (ika), please be (velayumu) (literally shine) by our side (pAla).
O Lord who abides (Alaya) in the heart (hRdaya) of Lord Siva – who has eye (lOcana) on the fore-head (phAla)! O protector (pAla) of dear ones (Apta jana) (hRdayAlayApta) to You!
O Lord who wears golden (kanaka maya) garments (cEla)! Why (Ela) this unconcern (parAku) even now (ika) (cElayika)? Why (Ela) Your (nIdu) mind (manasu) would not condescend (rAdu) now (ipuDu) (parAkElayipuDu) to protect (Ela) me (mammu) (literally us) (mammEla)?
O Lord rAma! Am I not believer in You? O Lord who brings delight to all the worlds!
