Variations - (Pathanthara)
1 – telise – telisi : In view of the ensuing word ‘kadarA’, the word ‘telisi’ is not appropriate.

Comments
1 – nI manasu telise kadarA – Don’t I understand Your mind?. The implication is that ‘I know that You have a grievance that I do not extol You’. The kRti is in nayaki bhAva showing ‘feigned anger’ - known as ‘UDal’ in tamizh – sort of ‘teasing’.
2 – paramESa rudra – These two words are synonyms – meaning Siva; therefore, ‘paramESa’ has been taken as an epithet of rudra.
4 – peTTa – this word has numerous meanings. This may be added to the previous word ‘bhujiyimpa’ or used separately. Here this word has been taken separately to mean ‘look after’.
