O Lord of SrI rAma - spouse (kAnta) of sItA! The comfort is known (telusunu) only to those (AdulakE) self-restrained (dAnta) having innate (svAnta) compassion (karuNA) and love (of Lord) (prEma) (prEmAdulakE); otherwise (kAni),
I am unable to express that it is this much comfort; whoever knows as to how much and how it is!

The comfort is known (telusunu) to Lord Sankara (Sankaruniki) who relishes (bhujincE) (literally eats)
by mixing (miSramu jEsi) the refined (kaNDa) sugar (cakkera) called (anE) the holy (vara) name (nAmamu) (nAmamanE) of SrI rAma,
in (andu) the nectarine (sudhA) juice (rasamu) (rasamandu) of (music) svara – rAga – laya;
O Lord praised (vinuta) by this tyAgarAja! I am unable to express that it is this much comfort; whoever knows as to how much and how it is!

General – Translation of anupallavi words 'karuNA svAnta prEmAdulakE' is very unsatisfactory, because the thoughts of the saint could not be properly gauged.
