Variations - (Pathanthara)
3 – madi karaga – madini karaga. In the present context, ‘madini’ is not appropriate.
4 – kshudrulu – SUdrulu. In my opinion, in the present context, ‘kshudrulu’ is the appropriate word.
5 – SilAtmulai – this is how it is given in all the books (in plural). However, in the present context, it should be 'SilAtmuDai' (singular).
6 – dEva dEva – dEvAdi dEva.
7 – mOhulaku – mOhamulaku.

1 – duDuku – This word has the meanings of 'folly', 'wickedness', 'silliness', 'rashness' etc. In the Pallavi, this has been translated as 'wickedness'. However, while connecting this word (duDuku) to anupallavi and all the SSs, the same meaning cannot be adopted. For example, while connecting SS2, the word will take the meaning of 'folly'.
2 – E dora koDuku – which (other) Lord’s son. This is an implied addressing ‘dASarathE’ (O son of king daSaratha!)
