While it is proclaimed (moralu iDa) (moraliDa), in (andu) the whole World (jagamu) (jagamandu), that You are (ani) very compassionate (dayapari) (dayApariyani) towards the humble (dIna),
would any other (mari oka) (mariyoka) God (daivamu) do (tIrcu) justice (nyAyamu) to me?
O Goddess! That day is the auspicious day when You show grace on me.

Comments
1 – dinamE – In view of the following observation about ‘kRpa jUDa’, in pallavi and anupallavi, ‘dinamE’ has been translated as ‘today’. When connecting to caraNam, it has been translated as ‘that day’.
2 – kRpa jUDa – ‘jUDa’ does not complete the sense. In my opinion, this should be ‘jUDu’.
3 – SrI latAngi – It is not clear as to which Goddess this kRti is addressed.

The way anupallavi is worded, it can neither be connected to pallavi nor complete meaning be derived, otherwise. Either the word ‘tIrcu’ should be ‘tIrucunA’ (an interrogation) or instead of ‘daivamu’ it should be ‘daivamA’ (an interrogation). Otherwise, the meaning is incomplete. As this kRti is not found in any other book, no cross checking is possible.
This kRti is available only in the book ‘Compositions of Tyagaraja’ by Sri TK Govinda Rao. In that book also, this kRti is listed in the category of ‘doubtful’, which means it is doubtful whether this kRti was indeed composed by SrI tyAgarAja.
From the wordings - ‘jagamandu moraliDa’, ‘nyAyamu tIrcu’, ‘bhava sAgaramu tIrci’ - there is every reason to believe that this kRti might not have been composed by SrI tyAgarAja.
