O sati (daughter of daksha) with an auspicious (Subha) conduct or story (caritE)! O Always (sadA) sweet (madhura) spoken (bhAshA) in a nectarine (amRta rasa vigaLad) (literally nectar oozing) (vigaLadamRta) voice (dhvani) (literally sound)!
Having had here (iha) vision (darSita) of Your holy feet (pada yuga), extolled (nuta) by celestials (sura), my (mama) body (gAtram) is thrilled (ati-mAtram) (literally swollen) (gAtramati). O Unborn (ajani) (mAtramajani)! O Auspicious Mother (sujani)!

In caraNams 1, 2 and 3, (SrI rAja rAjESvari), (ghana nIla vENi) and (nava sArasa mukhI) respectively are given in brackets, the purpose of which is not very clear.
4 - viSAlAksha taruNi – In the books, this seems to have been translated as ‘bride of Siva’. However, these words do not convey anything about Siva. Therefore, it has been translated as ‘Wide-eyed ever-youthful’. Please also refer to lalitA sahasra nAma (358, 430) – ‘taruNI’, ‘nitya yauvanA’.
11 – ayi – method of calling a dear one. Please refer to lalitA sahasra nAma (427) – ‘ayI’.

14 – muraLI mRdanga svara saMSObhini – Mother is nAda embodied. svaras are Her manifestations. nAdOpAsana is worship of Mother through the path of nAda. (‘svara’ - ‘notes’ of flute and ‘laya’ of mRdanga).
15 - rasa-kRta mahI talE – Infused sap in the Earth. Please refer to bhArati’s poem – ‘ettanai kODi inbam vaittAy’ – wherein the poet describes how by integrating ‘cit’ with ‘acit’, She created all the Worlds consisting of Five Great Elements. (She Herself is beyond both ‘cit’ and ‘acit’).
If ‘rasa’ is taken to mean ‘mood’, this may refer to ‘nava-rasa’.
