O Mother whose feet (caraNA) are worshipped (vandita) by sages sanaka and sanandana! Aren’t (gadA) You (nIvu) lotus (sArasa) eyed (nEtri)?
This indeed is the opportune moment to come very quickly and show mercy.

1 – kanakAngI – Golden Bodied. The hue of Mother is dark-blue (SyAma); ‘golden’ probably refers to bangAru (golden) kAmAkshi.
5 – sAmrAjyamu – empire. In the books this has been taken to mean ‘empire of grace’. However, in my opinion, it would be more appropriate if it is taken to mean ‘empire of bhakti’. Accordingly, it has been translated.
